Public Fears of AI Job Loss vs. Nvidia’s CEO Huang’s Optimistic View
NVIDIA’s CEO Jensen Huang thinks people are fearing that they might lose their jobs, as more and more ai becomes common in the workplace, artificial intelligence could overpower human efforts, and machines might take all the jobs in the future.
Jensen Huang was on the No Priors podcast during the discussion. The Nvidia CEO has a very different take on ai, he says ai will not replace humans in near by time.
How AI Has Changed Jensen Huang’s Own Daily Work
NVIDIA’s CEO Jensen Huang spends most of the time is spent on taking notes, reviewing meetings, and communicating.
This doesn’t mean the load is decreased the number of small tasks has decreased, and instead, it allows him to handle more responsibilities.
AI Redefines Jobs, Removes Boring Tasks, and Highlights Human Strengths
With a calm and practical view he also stated that Ai will not take the purpose of the job. It might redefine the way it is done, and also in a humorous way, he says Ai will take all the boring and time-consuming jobs/ tasks, and secondly.
We can focus on important human judgments such as Wisdom, Proficiency, and Commitment. Huang’s have real world experience, so the argument comes as ai has been tested on different industry, such as service industry, healthcare, etc.
Difference Between Routine Tasks and the True Purpose of a Job
Jensen Huang highlighted the difference between Daily tasks and the purpose of a job. People do a lot of daily tasks like drafting reports, reviewing files, or examining images.
We all know the whole reason why all these roles exist, and ai deletes all the unnecessary delays in the work and just give us time for purposeful work.
As per the Ceo, the regular routine jobs/smaller jobs are eased and more responsible jobs can be handed to the employee, as ai would take care of the repetitive jobs
